A year ago, I hit record on the very first episode of The Midwife Life. I didn’t have a strategy, a studio, or a launch plan. I knew that women were craving deeper conversations. Not just about birth or motherhood, but about what it means to remember yourself again and again. Over the past year, this podcast has become more than a microphone. It’s become a movement – built on truth, tenderness, and transformation.
And if there’s one thing this year has taught me, it’s this:
Rebirth is the opposite of burnout.
Burnout happens when we keep giving from an empty cup — when we forget to listen to our own rhythms. Rebirth begins when we finally pause long enough to breathe again. Burnout says, “push through.” Rebirth whispers, “Come home.”
That’s what this week’s anniversary episode explores:
Why Rebirth Is the Opposite of Burnout
Because the same energy that brought me to midwifery, to this podcast, and to every conversation I’ve shared this year — is now guiding what’s next.
This next season of The Midwife Life is about becoming. About remembering the woman beneath all the roles, expectations, and noise. About leading from softness, stillness, and soul.
That’s what inspired me to create The Rebirth Journey: a 12-week coaching experience for women who are ready to root, reconnect, and rise.
It’s the natural continuation of everything this first year has taught me:
That healing isn’t about doing more.
It’s about remembering who you are.
If you’ve been feeling that quiet pull – that sense that something new is waiting to be born in you – this is your invitation.
